Blog "InFill Developments"
Currently there is a debate going on in one of Regina’s oldest and most established neighbourhood’s Lakeview and its’ growing presence of “infill” development. Many traditionalist do not like this trend however I for one, am all for it. Builders such as Usonia Homes of Regina have hit the nail on the head with their homes currently being built on Montague St. and Athol St. Gone are the 50’s bungalows of yesterday and in their place stand sets of modern and contemporary designs. Usonia is making a name for themselves with their extremely energy efficient ICF structure and building materials and attention to quality and detail.
I understand the need to maintain a sense of history and nostalgia however at times, modernity and efficiency must replace the tired and inefficient homes of the post world war 2 building boom.
Some people may feel architectural guidelines would be a benefit to new homes “fitting in” with the character of the neighbourhood, but the fact of the matter is regardless of peoples varying architectural tastes, these “infills” in this desirable neighbourhood are increasing the value of all surrounding homes in Lakeview.

Blog "Saskatchewan Continues to Boom"
What a great economy to be in, Saskatchewan continues to boom. Today we have 655 active listings on MLS. WOW, slim pickings out there! The average sale price for single family homes in Regina for the month of August was $308,215; condominiums $282,867. The overall average sale price for the month of August was $294,114; up from $287,413 last month. With our extremely low inventory, prices remain strong and the competition for buyers continues to increase. Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation has predicted house prices to remain stable though 2011, with prices expected to rise in 2012. We can expect the average MLS price to increase 6.6% in 2011. Next year, resale price gains will be tampered by the combination of higher homeownership costs and a larger selection of resale homes, with average prices projected to advance 3.3%.? In spite of the rising apartment vacancy rates, Regina's expanding population and solid employment prospects will ensure that demand for rental accommodation remains strong over the forecast period. This will sustain rental demand over the next two years, and spur increase in average rents. ??Due to our strong economic recovery, Regina continues to generate jobs and increase demand and price for key commodities. It is a great time to invest in real estate!

Blog "Launch"
I recently moved over to Royal LePage and I couldn’t be happier with how things are going. The culture is light and stress-free making it enjoyable to go to work. Our brokers and my colleagues are very welcoming and respectful which makes me feel at home. Royal LePage has presented a world of opportunity that I am excited to explore.
Throughout the past few months I have had the privilege of working with Bravo Tango Advertising Firm Inc. in developing my identity and personal brand. They have worked hard to design my logo and create my website. I’ve done my research and have selected and compiled information which I felt would be most beneficial to clients looking to buy or sell. I have researched and included the most up to date market information, area maps and community information. I hope this will be a valuable tool to help buyers make an informed and educated decision when purchasing one of the largest investments they will ever make. I have also included numerous of other tools and information such as a quick search, mortgage calculators, a free home evaluation, as well as the buying process and tips. Make sure you check out the Market Snap Shot which is an incredible cool tool to help keep you up to date on what is happening in your area.
I am really excited to be in Real Estate in Regina, one of North America’s the hottest markets’. It has provided me with an incredible opportunity to grow my business and serve my clients.
I hope you will use my site as a useful tool in providing you valuable information, whether you are buying or selling, or just want to stay up to date on our booming market.
